Regarding the implication that [a certain] Cardinal McIntyre denied that the report of Giuseppe Siri's election was anything more than a "story," it would not be the first time that a cardinal, or the entire college of cardinals, had lied about the results of a papal election. In 1378, the cardinals who had just elected Bartolomeo Prignano, who took the name Pope Urban VI (1378-89), to the supreme pontificate, became afraid of what might have been the reaction to their choice by the Roman mob which burst into the conclave, and announced instead that they had elected the Roman Cardinal Tibaldeschi. The confusion and bitterness that resulted from that one lie of the fearful cardinals, caused the forty-year long Great Western Schism, which produced a succession of antipopes and nearly brought the Church to ruin.

The following Church approved prayer has been printed frequently under different assumed names, as its author (Blessed Anna Maria Taigi) wished (that the fact that she composed it) to remain unknown. It was officially cited in the process of her being declared Venerable. (Note: she was Beatified by Pope Benedict XV [fifteenth] in 1920 A.D. -ED)

Blessed Anna Maria Taigi is known as a profound mystic and Catholic prophetess (of our times). She had a singular devotion to the Sovereign Pontiffs, an undying patriotism for the city of Rome, and performed heroic penance for the Triumph of the Papacy in her day and in the *future.

*Note: which the Editor of TCW believes will come relatively soon if the True faithful follow Blessed Taigi's model of total self-immolation for the lawful Hierarchy connected to Pope Gregory XVII.

A Lesson from the Catacombs

"Then the Church shall be... in catacombs... Such is the universal testimony of the Fathers of the early Church."

"The apostasy of the city of Rome from the vicar of Christ and its destruction by Antichrist may be thoughts so new to many Catholics, that I think it well to recite the text of theologians of greatest repute. First Malvenda, who writes expressly on the subject, states as the opinion of Ribera, Gaspar Melus, Biegas, Suarrez, Bellarmine and Bosius that Rome shall apostatise from the faith, drive away the Vicar of Christ and return to its ancient paganism. ...Then the Church shall be scattered, driven into the wilderness, and shall be for a time, as it was in the beginning, invisible hidden in catacombs, in dens, in mountains, in lurking places; for a time it shall be swept, as it were from the face of the earth. Such is the universal testimony of the Fathers of the early Church." -Henry Edward Cardinal Manning, The Present Crisis of the Holy See, 1861, London: Burns and Lambert, pp. 88-90

Theological/Historical Facts: The last Cardinal created by Pope Pius XII died in 1991. The Hostage Pope, Gregory XVII, created Cardinals in 1988 who are in exile today. These Cardinals were created while Pope Gregory XVII operated the true Vatican (due to grave necessity) "underground" (i.e. in a Catacomb-type manner to avoid detection from his Judeo-Masonic captors). Thus, all the actions His Holiness, Gregory XVII performed with his trusted Cardinals to preserve the Church and Her Divine mission, were prudently done "out of view".

Some have erroneously claimed that these Cardinals whom Gregory XVII created "out of view" of the public (and the Masons) eye(s) in the grievous emergency circumstances which His Holiness faced in the summer of 1988- somehow "lost their rights as Cardinals" when Pope Gregory died on May 2, 1989. This is entirely false and can be easily shown why.

It certainly is Church teaching that what are traditionally understood as secret Cardinals or Cardinals created 'in pectore' [i.e. specific Cardinals created in normal times by a secured Pope who has free movement, (for instance) in the Holy Father's private chapel at the Vatican in a purposely secret ceremony] (do) lose their rights as Cardinals upon the death of the appointing Pope. Yet as stated above- regarding the Hostage Pope, Gregory XVII's truly warlike situation- all of the elder Pontiff's actions to carry on the mission of the Church in 1988 by necessity, were performed in a way to avoid detection/certain death for him and his Princes by the armed usurpers [Freemasons].

Hence, His Holiness [an expert in doctrine] creating Cardinals who could convene a lawful conclave (which included designating a *Camerlengo), giving His Cardinals a special code-type communication system, His formulation of a strategic Continuation of Papacy Plan [rules of conclave, etc.,] and His specific commands to/for His Cardinals to carry out His orders, were all conducted/administered in the (war) traditions of the Catacombs - that is "out of view" of the enemy (for a time) - so as the flock could regroup [purify and strengthen itself] - to then in God's precise timing - come back and conquer the enemy.

Pope Gregory XVII (and His Cardinals) like numerous other persecuted Popes (and their Cardinals) throughout Church History, successfully implemented the Catacomb (war) strategy... yet another senseless sophism smashed!

Implore, most loving Mother, this grace by the infinite goodness of the Most High, by the merits of thy Most Holy Son, by the milk thou gavest Him, by the cares with which thou guardest Him, by the love with which thou lovedst Him, by the tears thou sheddest, and by the grief thou sufferdst in His Most Holy Passion. Obtain for me this great boon, that all nations may form but one people and one Church, that they may glorify, honor, and thank the Most Holy Trinity, and thee, who art our mediatrix. Three Pontifical Prophecies by Blessed Anna Maria Taigi:

Pope Pius VII

"In an audience which Cardinal Pedicini, at that time Secretary of the Congregation of Propaganda Fide, had of the Holy Father, he (Pius VII) enjoined the prelate to tell Anna Maria he wished her to write to him. The humility of the servant of God was sorely taxed in having to write to a Pope, nor would she ever have dared to suggest counsels and lights to the Vicar of Jesus Christ, who, in virtue of his lofty position, should illuminate and guide the whole world. Obliged, however, through obedience, she resolved to select some plain and artless theme, and thus be relieved of all embarrassment. She therefore gave to the Holy Father a sketch of his life in boyhood, with the more minute incidents relative to it. The Supreme Pontiff, surprised at the exact details which she had given, said to the Cardinal, that all the servant of God had written and recalled to his memory was true. From this time he continued to feel a greater esteem for her; in the audiences the Cardinal had with him, he would frequently ask news regarding her, and, when sending her his benediction, would add the request that she would pray according to his intention." Pope Gregory XVI

"One day she (Blessed Anna Maria Taigi) was kneeling in prayer before the celebrated crucifix at St. Paul's. Cardinal Cappellari entered after she had already been for some time elevated in spirit in a celestial ecstasy. In vain did the assistant chaplain endeavor to make her give room to his Eminence, as there was but one kneeling-stool in the chapel, and that was used by her. After she had come to herself, she fixed her gaze on high and then on the countenance of the Cardinal. Interrogated afterwards concerning her conduct, she replied to her confessor that the Cardinal was the future Pontiff. "The servant of God [Anna Maria Taigi] being asked, one day, at what time the Church should suffer the new persecutions predicted by her, replied: 'When a science shall make great and startling advances, [steam, electricity, etc...] and the Church will then be reanimated by the discovery of many saints.'" Blessed Anna-Maria Taigi (19th Century)	After the Three Days of Darkness	St. Peter and St. Paul, having come down from Heaven, will preach in the whole world and...		Designate a new Pope	A great light will flash from their bodies and will settle upon the cardinal who is to become Pope	Russia, England, and China will come into the Church

""After the three days of darkness, Saints Peter and Paul, having come down from Heaven, will preach throughout the world and designate a new Pope. A great light will flash from their bodies and will settle upon the cardinal, the future Pontiff. Then Christianity will spread throughout the world. Whole nations will join the Church shortly before the reign of Anti-Christ. These conversions will be amazing. Those who shall survive shall have to conduct themselves well. There shall be innumerable conversions of heretics, who will return to the bosom of the Church; all will note the edifying conduct of their lives, as well as that of all other Catholics.
