has suffered, and how vigorous is the destructive attack of Her enemies."

Ecclesiastical Approbation
In Today's Catholic World carries the approbation in writing of the (True) Hierarchy in eclipse i.e., connected with Pope Gregory XVII.

St. Ignatius of Antioch - "Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he ordains [i.e., a presbyter]. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there; just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church." (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 - 110 A.D.)

Be sure to get your 100% Beeswax candles *blessed by a True Priest on February 2nd (Candlemas Day) -The Editor

The Holy Feast of Candlemas is February 2nd "God will send two punishments: one will be in the form of wars, revolutions and other evils; it shall originate on earth. The other will be sent from Heaven. There shall come over the whole earth an intense darkness lasting three days and three nights. Nothing can be seen, and the air will be laden with pestilence which will claim mainly, but not only, the enemies of religion. It will be impossible to use any man-made lighting during this darkness, except *blessed candles. He, who out of curiosity, opens his window to look out, or leaves his home, will fall dead on the spot. During these three days, people should remain in their homes, pray the Rosary and beg God for mercy...All the enemies of the Church, whether known or unknown, will perish over the whole earth during that universal darkness, with the exception of a few whom God will soon convert. The air shall be infected by demons who will appear under all sorts of hideous forms." -Blessed Anna Maria Taigi

TCW PRESENTS PART THREE OF: THE PRESENT COURSE OF COLLISION (IN HOC SIGNES VINCES)
BY MRS. BROWNSEY

In Today's Catholic World (TCW)
January 26, 2007 A.D.

(Minneapolis) -Jan 26- In Today's Catholic World introduced our new columnist, Mrs. Brownsey to readers earlier this month (January 7th)., and the response has been very positive. One nice recent note came from a true priest in the Ukraine whom enjoyed the first *two installments of Mrs. Brownsey's Essay (... and wants to read more). TCW is honored to have Mrs. Brownsey as a columnist of the In Today's Catholic World News Journal. Here is the conclusion of her three-part essay, (The Present Course of Collision) entitled: "In Hoc Signes Vinces". *(Part I was posted Jan 7th, Part II on Jan 11th: scroll down this page to view. -The Editor)

The Present Course of Collision

In Honour of Pascendi Dominici Gregis, Pope St. Pius X, Sept. 8, 1907

Part Three

In Hoc Signes Vinces

On July 13, 1917, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, the Queen of Prophets confided this prophecy to the three little seers: Lucia dos Santos, Jacinta and Francisco Marto: "When you see a night illumined by an unknown light know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is going to punish the world for its crimes by means of war, famine, persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father."

On January 25-26, 1938, this great sign flamed across the sky of the entire Northern hemisphere and was widely reported in the press as a light of unknown origin.

Hitler’s annexation of Catholic Austria: the Anschluss rapidly followed in March of the same year, thus inaugurating World War II and a new era of global warfare. There has not been 24 hours of peace in the entire world since that time. But in the East, the persecution of the Church had commenced in 1917, the year of Our Lady’s original prophecy, when the Masonic Revolution Ordo ab Chao (that had flared in France 1789) seized the Winter Palace in Russia under Lenin and Trotsky. The Revolution spread to the Church in 1958 when a Masonic coup d’ête seized the Throne of Peter within the Conclave and proceeded to establish the post conciliar novus ordo church through an antipapacy. Now the Holy See is vacant. Yet, despite the clear sequence of these ominous events and the indelible signature of Ordo ab Chao upon them, how few people consider that the persecution of Church and the Holy Father is viewed by Heaven as a punishment for the world for its crimes. God’s permissive will allowing the consequences of sin to universally ripen its terrible fruit, as the ordinary means of sanctifying grace that Our Lord wills for His Church is removed.

A terrible revelation!

Speaking on the eve of the coup which saw the overthrow of the Vatican, Dec. 26, 1957, in her interview with Father Fuentes, Sr. Lucia of the Immaculate Heart of Mary puts it like this: "The good continue on their way without giving any importance to Her (Our Lady’s) Message. The bad, not seeing the punishment of God actually falling upon them, continue their life of sin without even caring about the Message." But, she continues, "believe me, Father, God will chastise the world and this will be in a terrible manner."

Antipope
Wrongful Authority
Antipope Ben 16: He knows the True Church Militant want to [have a duty to] chase him out

So. "Are we at the End Times" rhetorically asks? (writes) the intellectually dishonest A.S. Grimarães on his Tradition in Action (INaction) website. (Oct. 16, 2006). His answer: "No. We are heading to the Reign of Mary," – as though that event did not take place in precisely the End Times or, as it has also been styled: ‘the last times of the world’. The Grimarães article is supposedly written against false hopes (such as the Rapture) and to allay fears. But, he also takes this opportunity to conceal many well-attested events of the End Times. "We will still have a period of history in which God will be glorified as He deserves," he assures us. And while no one would wish to argue with this latter; the true historical context of "the restoration of all things" (Acts 3:21) does occur in the End Times and is indeed the culmination of many other events also occurring at the End Times about which people should be under no illusions. The only reassurance in truth is to seek and to *persevere in the Catholic faith, whole and entire, under the guidance of Our Lady of Fatima in a spirit of penance and reparation - an utter impossibility if one is following the Modernism of the novus ordo post conciliar church or attempting to resist Modernism within that church.

"To adhere to a false Bishop of Rome [a false "pope"] is to be out of communion with the Church." -St. Cyprian

The Triumph of the Immaculate and exaltation of Holy Church to the glory of Christ the King should never be removed from its true historical context in the End Times of the world. Indeed this victory of restoration is a victory over the world in the sense of the world eon ruled by the present rulers of this age of darkness. (Eph 6:12) To write of a historical context for Her Triumph other than at the End Times of the world is both mischievous and deceptive.

Yes, we are looking forward to the Triumph of the Immaculate and the exultation of Holy Church omnia instaurare in Christo. But this is not a tearing down of a great façade nor is it the successful outcome of a counterrevolutionary movement within the apostate church to restore ‘tradition’ and resolve a crisis. The antipopes have all violated their oaths against Modernism and, under cover of the Secret of the Conclave (1958 – a Secret to which His Holiness Pope Gregory XVII referred), they have extinguished the sacrament of orders, according to the principles of res sacramenti laid down by Pope Leo XIII (Apostolicae Curae, 1896. See Fr. Anthony Cekada "Transcript of the Interview with Fr. Cekada Radio Courtoisie", April 26. 06.

The Two Cities
It is a fact that St. Augustine's two cities,
the City of Good and The City of Evil
are separate, each seeking to rule in the world.

The City of Evil ruled by Satan
is named Judeo-Masonry;

The City of Good and of Jesus Christ
is the Catholic Church.

(L) Antipope Ben16 shown at Synagogue of Satan in 2005; (R) Child Martyr, St. Simon of Trent: who was murdered by perfidious Jews for their *Blood Ritual in 1475

(Excerpt from the life of Child Martyr, St. Simon of Trent)

"They (The Jews) then rushed to their meal. When the child (St. Simon) had died they threw his body in the river which flowed by their house. After this, they joyously celebrated Passover. The case was prosecuted by Bishop Hinderbach, and the Jews were sentenced to death. Immediately, all Jews of the area protested the sentence and succeeded in gaining a new trial for the accused. It was tried before Giudici of Ventimiglia, and he confirmed the sentence. Again because of Jewish protests, the case came before the court of Pope Sixtus IV. He commissioned the greatest and most famous professor of law at that time, Panvino, to serve as Chief Justice. Assisted by six cardinals, he too confirmed the sentence.

The Ecclesiastical Court Officially Stated: The Hebrews killed the little boy Simon, in order to obey a rabbinical religious law; their motive being to serve a most wicked piety and devotion by obtaining Christian blood for the celebration of Passover."

The antipapacy cannot restore anything, let alone the true papacy, Catholic Order and Sacred Tradition even if it wanted to. (Which it does not).

There is, however, an agenda to convince Catholics earnestly seeking to persevere in their holy faith and in obedience to the Roman Pontiff that ‘tradition’ can be restored within the post conciliar, modernist church. Along with ‘the Rapture’, this will be seen to be another deception and another false hope that has been sent to try us. A big show of the ‘restoration of sacred tradition’ by the antipapacy would sadly convince many, because, of course, Lucifer loves blasphemous charades that counterfeit the works of the Lord. No one should be looking forward to this.

The City of Good and of Jesus Christ is the Catholic Church

St. Louis De Montfort
The Apostle of Mary: St. Louis De Montfort

Rather, we are looking toward The Triumph of the Immaculate over The Great Apostasy

(II Thess 2:3). This is Her Victory over the antipapcy and ecumenical church riding the Beast to power in the Novus Ordo Seculorum (Apoc 17:1-7). The Woman clothed with the sun (Apoc 12:1) is crowned with a stephanos or victory wreath of twelve stars proclaiming Her victory over this entity. And I commend the souls who think otherwise to the Chapter entitled "Necessity", art. 2 "In the formation of the apostles of the latter times" St. Louis De Montfort, True Devotion to Mary. The great saint and apostle whose doctrine sets forth the role of Mary, Mother of God and Mediatrix of All Grace expressly for the latter times of the world leaves no one in any doubt that Our Lady’s Triumph occurs in that time - the times in which we are living.

The City of Evil ruled by Satan is named Judeo-Masonry

"The Court" hears cases brought before it by UN member states. The statute of the International Court of (In)Justice is based on the statutes of its predecessor -- the Permanent Court of Justice, established in 1922 by the (Freemasonic) League of Nations. Ruling on World Court cases are 15 judges, each elected to nine-year terms by the General Assembly and Security Council. Judges do not represent their governments, but are independent magistrates. Q & A On the World Court

(From the (secular) PBS website's featured section, labeled: Kofi Annan Online)

Q. What sort of case would the World Court hear?

A. They run the gamut -- everything from establishing maritime boundaries to territorial sovereignty, and the use of force. It's given advisory opinions on UN membership, the status of human rights rapporteurs and the legality of the threat or use of nuclear weapons, plus ruled on a host of other legal questions submitted by the General Assembly, the Security Council and other UN agencies.

For those who might think that the immense and prophetic visions of the Apocalypse are merely hyperbolic figures of speech: Think Again. The image of Great Bab’-el riding the Beast to power is now monumentalised in Brussels, the home of the 5th European Parliament where the EU is currently deliberating on whether or not to legislate against spelling Christ with a capital "C". The Sionist / Talmudic secret societies and Masonic orders which have created the EU would obviously like to make acknowledgement of Our Lord’s title (which Lucifer hates) an example of ‘hate speech’ to be dealt with under the International Court of Justice in the Hague. Such legislation would be entirely appropriate for a political entity that has chosen the figure of the Woman riding the Beast as the new image of the EU - an image now represented in the giant statue outside the EU Council of Ministers Office in Brussels.

The Grand Orient has always referred to Great Bab’ – el (the gate of the god) in these terms: " I sit a queen and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow." ( Apoc 18: 7) That is why in the centuries of the papacy, the Lodge ever referred to the ‘worshipful brothers and masters’ [ sic ] as the Sons of the Widow. For the centuries of the Church were the centuries of her desolation. *No More.

According to their delusional system, Great Bab’-el now sits a queen and her iconography can be viewed in monument, on coin and in the graphic arts of the 5th European Parliament. Believe it, good Catholics. This is reality.

And this reality is a blasphemous outrage and sin against "the Woman clothed with the sun", the Bride of the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Mother of Our Lord.

The City of Good

Our Lady of Fatima
Our Lady of Fatima

Or as Sr. Lucia of Fatima confided to Fr. Fuentes: "Father, the Most Holy Virgin did not tell me that we are in the last times of the world but She made me understand this for three reasons. And the third reason is because in the plans of Divine Providence, God always, before He is about to chastise the world, (my emphasis) exhausts all other remedies. Now, when He sees that the world pays no attention whatsoever, then, as we say in our imperfect manner of speaking, He offers us with ‘certain fear’ the last means of salvation, His Most Holy Mother. It is with ‘certain fear’ because if you despise and repulse this ultimate means, we will not have any more forgiveness from Heaven because we will have committed a sin which the Gospel calls the sin against the Holy Spirit." (Dec 26, 1957)

Well did Our Lady of La Salette, herself, say about this time, our own time: "This is the time of all times and the end of all ends." And at Fatima, she opened to the three little seers the vision of the last ends of man. This is the true context in which we should contemplate our own time in order to form our consciences and actions accordingly.

In Sacred Scripture, the disciples earnestly sought Our Lord’s council on this subject. "Tell us" they asked. "When shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the ending of the world?" (Matt. 24:3) The Greek word sunteleia which is here translated end or ending signifies (1.) to bring to completion a process and (2.) mark out that limit either at which a person or thing ceases to be what he or it was or (3.) that point at which previous activities cease. The second interpretation sheds much light on the words of Our Lord. For in his answer, he gives "the days of No’ e" as the sign. "..as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No’e entered into the ark." (Matt 24:38)

This is the sign and reality given by Our Lord, Himself, over the last times of the world and the days of the Great Apostasy. For the Ark to which He refers (the ark of No’e being merely a type) is, of course, the Church. More specifically, the sign is Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus – outside of the Church there is no salvation.

"One must neither *pray nor sing psalms with heretics, and whosoever shall communicate with those who are cut off
from the communion of the Church, whether clergy or layman, let him be excommunicated."

Benedict XVI recalls "emotional" visit to Cologne synagogue
World Jewish Congress
(Official Website)

August 25, 2005

Pope Benedict XVI has said that his historic visit to a synagogue had been an emotional highlight of his trip to Germany, and he praised the participants in World Youth Day for helping to bring "a springtime of hope" to the world. Reflecting on his four-day visit to his homeland during his general audience at the Vatican, Benedict noted in particular his visit with his "Jewish brothers" as well as his meeting with members of Germany's Muslim community.

"And how can I not relive with emotion the visit to the Cologne synagogue, where the oldest German Jewish community is based?" he asked.

His visit was the second by a Pope to a Jewish temple. The Pontiff also said that during his meeting with Muslim leaders, he expressed his concerns about terrorism. He said he hoped "that fanaticism and violence are eradicated and that together we can collaborate on always defending the dignity of the human person and protecting (his or her) fundamental rights."

This dogma is still lying around the conciliar church to be trotted out from time to time as an example of Catholic doctrine that has been reformed to serve the goals of ecumeninsm, ultimately the goal of the one world ecumenical church of all religions, creeds and Christian denominations given formal statement in Ut Unum Sint 1995: – the ideological basis of the new Roman Pantheon.

But, Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus is not the type of statement that lends itself to reform. Thrice defined ex cathedra and its meaning is clearly spelled out by the Fathers as the interpretation of Matt 24:38 – cited above. This is the sign of the Ark with which Our Lord sealed our times

Rather than heed the words of A.S. Grimarães, it would be far better to listen to the words of Ven. Anna Katarina Emmerich on this most important subject: "I wish the time were here when the Pope dressed in red will reign. I see the Apostles, not those of the past, but the apostles of the last times..."-Ven. Anna Katarina Emmerich

The Way of the Cross
"Persecution brings forth Saints."-St. Augustine

This is an amazing statement! In her own time!, why would the Venerable Seer have wished for the time of her visions? Catholic order is shattered. The Vicar of Christ is exiled from Rome and then the See is vacant. The life of sacramental grace, the very means of sanctification and order which Our Lord absolutely wills for His Church is extinguished in much of the world by the anti papacy "casting down the strength and the altars". His Adorable Sacrifice pleading mercy for sinful and unregenerate man no longer sweeps across the world as the Daystar traverses the sky. The anti pope also wears Prada and poses with rabbis (with whom he now has an ecumenical ‘mission to the world’ ). What of Our Lord’s mission to "go and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit" (Matt 28:19) that in hidden glory, He might dwell with us? And further to this, the priest who became antipope Benedict 16 has despised, the Real Presence for "to go to church on the ground that we can visit God who is present there is a senseless act which modern man rightfully rejects" sneers this arch Illuminist and Son of the Widow. Ratzinger: 1966. quoted in (www.opusdeialert.com) The lamp of the sanctuary no longer burns over the altar of sacrifice oriented te Deum. Upon many continents, it is extinguished completely. The patrimony of the Catholic faith of generations for the generations to come is daily being liquidated to pay for the sex crimes of the novus ordo episcopacy of the anti popes. At the time of this writing, the fourth American "diocese" (Iowa) has filed for bankruptcy. The flock is now scattered: Confused souls huddle miserably around the tables of the indult, attempting to oppose Modernism within the modernist, post conciliar church of darkness. The True flock is worshiping outside the jurisdiction of "Rome" altogether - as the Church worshipped outside the Arian dioceses in the 4th century.

So, really one could not imagine a worse time to wish for. Unless, of course, with faith and zeal one also discerns the unimaginable graces that would flow to these our sad times of greatest distress through the Queenship of Mary.

Madonna and Child
Our Lady Our Hope!

"The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given new efficacy to the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult – whether temporal or, above all, spiritual in the personal life of each one of us, of our families, of the families of the world, or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations that can not be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is that we can not resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary, we will save ourselves; we will sanctify ourselves; we will console our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls." -Sr. Lucia of Fatima to Fr. Fuentes. Dec. 26, 1957.

"We will sanctify ourselves." At a time when the sacraments have been extinguished on entire continents by the antipapacy, no one can overstate the importance of this insight and the Church approval of the Immaculate Heart Devotion to the one who revealed Herself as Queen of the Holy Rosary at Fatima on Oct. 13, 1917.

Of these times it was written by the prophet: "…darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee " (Is 60:2) "…and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. But you shall have a song, as in the night of a holy solemnity and gladness of heart, as when one goes with pipe to the mountain of the Lord." Is 30: 28-29

Holy Church, with Your catechumens and potential catechumens seeking You, take heart!!

THE SOLUTION
"If our age in its pride laughs at and rejects Our Lady’s Rosary, a countless legion of the most saintly men of every age and of every condition have not only held it most dear and have most piously recited it but have also used it at all times as a most powerful weapon to overcome the devil, to preserve the purity of their lives, to acquire virtue more zealously, in a word, to promote peace among men."
(Pius XI, Encyclical Letter, Ingravescentibus Malis, On the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary).

"The more we reflect, the more we realize that the mission of Christianity is to take possession of man in his entirety in order to transform him into a soul worthy of Heaven. Hence, Pius XI, in speaking of Christian Education, says that its ‘proper and immediate end is to cooperate with divine grace in forming the true and perfect Christian, that is, to form Christ Himself in those regenerated by Baptism.’ In this work of transformation…that of leading souls to Jesus Christ, and of keeping them in His love… the role of Mary, Mother of God and Mediatrix of All Grace, ought not to be overlooked." Cardinal O’Connell, Dec. 8, 1940. "Preface". St. Louis de Montfort. 1941. True Devotion to Mary.

There had been at the time of the deluge only one ark of Noah, prefiguring the one Church, which ark, having been finished to a single cubit, had only one pilot and guide, i.e., Noah, and we read that, outside of this ark, all that subsisted on the earth was destroyed. -Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam, Nov. 18, 1302

These words are even more powerful and prescient in the days of the anti papacy when "the strength and the altars have been cast down", when the lamp of the tabernacle has been extinguished over much of the world, when "the suicide of altering both faith and liturgy" (Pope Pius XII) is an accomplished fact and the sacrament of orders has been extinguished since 1969 in the post conciliar church. How is it possible in the latter times of the world to enter or abide in the Church, outside of which there is no salvation, to receive absolution from sin, to make worthy reparation and persevere in faith, in the life of sanctifying grace and be of strength and help to others?

"We need Mary as our Mediatrix" states St. Louis de Montfort in the "Fundamental Truths" which he sets down in consideration of his consecration to Jesus through Mary. (True Devotion to Mary 1941: 51)

The Immaculate Heart of Mary
The Immaculate Heart of Mary

Through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, magnifying God above all, upon earth above all creatures and in heaven above all angels, it has pleased Our Lord "to grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth and height;

"And to know the love of Christ, which passes all knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God,

Now, unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power working within us,

"Unto Him be glory in the Church and by Him, Christ Jesus, throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." Ephesians 3:16-21.

These are the mighty graces and powers flowing to the Church through the Queenship of Mary for the restoration of all things in Christ.

And there is nothing the anti-papacy and the new Roman pantheon riding the Beast to power in the Novus Ordo Seculorum can do about it.

Writing for our own times when the Queenship of Mary would come to the succour of the Church in eclipse, St. Louis de Montfort (died 1716) wrote:

"Make for me, if you will, a new road to go to Jesus, and pave it with all the merits of the blessed, adorn it with all their heroic virtues, illuminate and embellish it with all the lights and beauties of the angels, and let all the angels and saints be there themselves, to escort, defend and sustain those who are ready to walk there; and yet in truth, in simple truth, I say boldly, and I repeat that I say truly, I would prefer to this new, perfect path the immaculate way of Mary. ‘ (my emphasis) ‘He made my way blameless.’ (Ps. 17:33)". -True Devotion to Mary, St. Louis de Montfort

Consider, then, "the immaculate way of Mary."

In his treatise: True Devotion to Mary (masterfully rendered into English by Fr. Frederick William Faber D.D), St. Louis sets down the theological foundation of that devotion and its consecration to Jesus through Mary. This is a consecration that was to become the acknowledged practice of six popes. Here, St. Louis makes his most searing prophecies over the last times of the world. "It was through Mary that the salvation of the world was begun and it is through Mary that it must be consummated." (True Devotion to Mary. Tan: 1941. Article Three: ‘Providential Function of Mary in the Latter Times’ No. 49; p. 28)

St. Louis clearly foresaw this "immaculate way of Mary" would be fulfilled in the last times of the world. And his treatise clearly anticipates the Devotion to the Immaculate Heart that was to be announced by Our Lady of the Holy Rosary at Fatima, a prophetic announcement that would be ratified by Our Lord with signs in the heavens. The Devotion to the Immaculate Heart and the requests bound up with it, as promulgated through the testimonies of Sr. Lucia and approved by the Church, was to be the fulfilment of the "immaculate way of Mary" which began to be revealed to the Church through St. Louis.

Of this way, St. Louis writes: "Mary must shine forth more than ever in mercy, in might and in grace, in these latter times: in mercy to bring back and lovingly receive the poor strayed sinners who shall be converted and shall return to the Catholic Church; in might against the enemies of God…who shall rise in terrible revolt against God to seduce all those who shall oppose them and to make them fall by promises and threats; and finally, she must shine forth in grace, in order to animate and sustain the valiant soldiers and faithful servants of Jesus Christ who shall battle for His interests. And lastly, Mary must be terrible to the devil and his crew…"
-St. Louis de Montfort from True Devotion to Mary

In these words, the saint is expounding the mystic song of the Spirit over His Bride. "Who is she that looks forth as the dawn, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?." The Canticle of Canticles 6:10.

On the formation of the apostles of the latter times, St. Louis writes "[they] will consecrate themselves entirely to Mary’s service as subjects and slaves of her love." And "..to them shall the Lord of Hosts give the word and the might to work marvels and to carry off with glory the spoils of his enemies." [They] "shall be like sharp arrows in the hand of the powerful Mary to pierce her enemies" and of the servants and slaves of Mary, [they] "like a burning fire, shall kindle the fire of divine love everywhere." St. Louis de Montfort. 1941. True Devotion to Mary: p 33-34.

Sister Lucy's life mission was to spread Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Authentic photo of Sister Lucia: who as a holy religious was reluctant to be photographed -standing next to a statue of Our Lady

St. Louis leaves none in doubt that this battle is about the conversion (or reconversion) of nations as Our Lord instructed Sr. Lucia of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to pray thus: "Sweet Heart of Mary, be the salvation of Russia". And "By your pure and Immaculate conception, O Mary, obtain for me the conversion of Russia, Spain, Portugal, Europe and the whole world." The victory over Satan has been entrusted to the Immaculate, that the Church might be exalted to the glory of Christ the King by placing "this devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary beside devotion to My Own Sacred Heart" as Our Lord confided to Sr. Lucia at Tuy.

"… how great is my joy in thinking about the consolation…that the Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary are going to receive and of the great number of souls who are going to be saved through this amiable devotion" wrote Sr. Lucia upon inauguration of the official process to gain Church approval for devotion to the Immaculate Heart.

This is the new standard: ‘ In Hoc Signes Vinces’ raised by Our Lord has over His Church and invoked by the Archangel over the last times of the world.

"Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the sacrileges, outrages and indifference by which He Himself is offended. And through the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of poor sinners." (Fatima 1916, the prayer of The Angel of Peace). He revealed himself to the three children as "the Angel of your country", Portugal, this would be the Archangel Michael whose help was invoked by the Portuguese Parliament at every sitting in the time of the apparitions)

Faithless
A Modernist Philosophizing for no Good

"Heresies are only embraced by those who had they persevered in the faith, would be lost by the irregularity of their lives."
-St. Augustine (St. Aug. de Va. Rel. c. 8.)

Obviously, this is a typical example of childish fancy and imagination as the pathetic likes of ‘cardinal’ Ratzinger and the equally pathetic likes of Dhanis, Sordarno, Arinze and others have dared to assert before the Church, before the hoodwinked Christians in the novus ordo church and the world.

At the time of the Fatima revelations, the Archangel offered the Real Presence of Our Lord in the tabernacles of the Church in reparation for the sins and the crimes of the world.

But in the time when God chastises the world "and believe me, Father, this will be in a terrible manner" as Sr. Lucia confided in her final interview, the Real Presence would be extinguished upon entire continents by the antipapacy through its persecutions of the Church and the Holy Father.

Where now the Mercy Seat of the Divine Presence?

In the Preface to True Devotion to Mary, Father Faber asks: "What is the remedy that is wanted? What is the remedy that is indicated by God Himself? If we may rely on the disclosures of the saints, it is an immense increase of devotion to our Blessed Lady; but, remember, Mary is not half enough preached. Devotion to her is low and thin and poor. It is frightened out its wits by the sneers of heresy. It is always invoking human respect and carnal prudence, wishing to make Mary so little of a Mary that Protestants may feel at ease about her. Its ignorance of theology makes it unsubstantial and unworthy. It is not the prominent characteristic of our religion which it ought to be. It has no faith in itself. Hence it is that Jesus is not loved, that heretics are not converted, that the Church is not exalted; (my emphasis) that souls which might be saints wither and dwindle; that the sacraments are not rightly frequented, or souls enthusiastically evangelised. (xxi – xxii) Jesus is obscured because Mary is kept in the background. Thousands of souls perish because Mary is withheld from them. It is the miserable, unworthy shadow which we call our devotion to the Blessed Virgin that is the cause of all these wants and blights, these evils and omissions and declines. Yet, if we are to believe the revelations of the saints, God is pressing for a greater, a wider, a stronger, quite another devotion to His Blessed Mother." (xxii)

Pray the Rosary and wear the Brown Scapular
The Divine Mary: Conqueror of All Heresies

This "greater,…wider…stronger, quite another devotion to His Blessed Mother" is the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary approved by the Church (in the twentieth century), but beginning with the consecration to Jesus through Mary as set forth by St. Louis de Montfort a century before the Masonic Revolution in France. This and the display of the Sacred Heart upon the royal standard of France, the Eldest Daughter of Holy Church, is the In Hoc Signes Vinces which Our Lord desires to raise over His Church, now scattered, divided and driven out of Her own possessions, the Chair of Peter overturned, Holy See to all appearances vacant.

Let the antipapacy in Rome tremble that the Church may gather to this standard and raise again "the strength and the altars."

As the Supreme Council of the 33rd uses its puppet, the government of the United States to lay the torch to the wick in the Middle East for the 33rd parallel and Sion, the world again has occasion to reflect upon (what was it again?) "that time of greed and lust for power that now has come to an end" as we were instructed by ‘cardinal’ Ratzinger upon publication of what the antipapacy claims to be the suppressed prophecy Our Lady confided to the young seers of Fatima all those years ago. How the Sons of the Widow love to mock the Woman! But the time for amusing yourself with these sacrileges will come to an end – ‘holiness’. In the judgement of the Great Day, where exactly will you be then?

To destroy all heresies: "cuntas haeresus tu sola interemisti in universo mundo", Our Lord has asked:

"I desire my Church to place devotion to this Immaculate Heart beside devotion to My own Sacred Heart."

In Hoc Signes Vinces

"It is granted to few to recognize the true Church amid the darkness of so many schisms and heresies,
and to fewer still so to love the truth which they have seen as to fly to its embrace."
-St. Robert Bellarmine

Freemason Angelo Roncalli
Freemason Angelo Roncalli (a.k.a Antipope John XXIII)

(Excerpt from L’Eglise Eclipsé par Les Amis du Christ Roi de France 1997)

“Certainly,” he said. “The Church is in our hands.”

In 1977, Franco Bellegrandi, ex-Chamberlain of the Cape and the Sword of His Holiness and contributor to L’Osservatore Romano, wrote a book titled, NikitaRoncalli, which was published in 1994, accompanied by quite a commotion in the national press at its release because, among the persons present was Cardinal Silvio Oddi.

Cadinal Siri in 1958
Cardinal Siri in 1958 before the Conclave:
He was Pius XII's hand-picked successor

In this book, he told what he had seen and heard at the Vatican. It was in September 1958, just before the Conclave, the author was privy to some confidential information:

"I was in a car with a person whom I knew to be a highly placed Mason who was in contact with the Vatican. He said to me: “The next Pope will not be Siri, as the gossip has it in certain Roman circles, because he is too authoritarian a cardinal. A conciliating Pope will be elected. He has already been chosen, and is the Patriarch of Venice, Roncalli,” To this I replied: “Are there Masons in the Conclave?” Certainly,” he said. The Church is in our hands.” After a brief silence, my interlocutor said, “No one can say where the leader can be found. The leader is hidden.”

The following day, Count Stella (of a well known Italian family---ED) wrote in an official document, which today is in a notary’s safety deposit box, the first and last name of this person as well as his stupefying declaration, compete with the month, year, day, and time of day.”
(Nichitaroncalli [NikitaRoncalli], Ediziones Eiles, Rome, p. 62)

"The enmity of the sectarians against the Apostolic See of the Roman Pontiff has increased its intensity . . . until now the evil doers have reached the aim which had, for a long time that of their evil designs, namely, their proclamation that the moment has come to suppress the Roman Pontiff's sacred power and to completely destroy this Papacy which was divinely instituted." -His Holiness, Pope Leo XIII

"Our enemies have on this been under no misapprehensions. From the outset, and with the greatest clearness of vision, they determined on
their objective; first to separate you from Us and the Chair of Peter, and then to sow disorder among you."
-His Holiness, Pope St. Pius X

SHOCKING REVELATIONS DETAIL HOW THE FREEMASONS "STOLE" THE PAPACY FROM POPE GREGORY XVII:
(FROM THE SCHOLARLY BOOK: L’EGLISE ECLIPSEE)

L’Eglise Eclipsée

(The Church in Eclipse)

par Les Amis du Christ Roi de France

(by The Friends of Jesus Christ the King of France)

Editions Delacroix,

1997 Paris

Excerpted from Chapter 1: Toward the Marriage of the Cross and the Triangle

Section 4, p. 81:

The necessity of a Council to set in motion the plan for a world religion

In 1889, the Luciferian, Roca, unveiled the following:

An immolation [a sacrifice] is being prepared, which shall be solemnly carried out. The Papacy shall succumb; it will die under the sacred knife which the fathers of the next Council shall forge. (Glorieux centenair, pp 462 to 469)

I believe that the divine cult that the liturgy, the ceremonial, the ritual and the precepts of the Roman Church regulates, shall, through an ecumenical Council, undergo a transformation, so that all of it shall be rendered into a venerable simplicity for the golden apostolic age, and so, put it into harmony with the state of the modern conscience and civilization. (Roca: ’Abbé Gabriel et sa fiancée, [“Father Gabriel and his fiancé, quoted by P.  Virion in Mystère d’iniquité, Editions St. Michel 1967, p. 3.

In fact, Theosophist, then Anthroposophist, Rudolf Steiner, long-time disciple of the Russian Mage, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, [1] wrote in 1910: ‘We need a Council and a Pope to convene it.” (quoted in Msgr. Rudolf Graber, Sant-Atanasio e la Chiesa del nostro tempo, Editions Civiltà, 1974, p. 43) [St. Athanasius and the Church of Our Time].

This is the council which will birth the new church. Alice Bailey, Foundress of the Lucifer Trust, the Theosophical and Satanist organization which lies behind UNESCO, predicted in 1919, the appearance of ‘a Universal Church’ of which ‘the definitive outline will appear toward the end of the century.” (Alice Bailey, Esteriorizzazione della gerarchia, Ediziones Nuova Era, Rome, 1985, p. 476.) [Externalization of the Hierarchy], and which shall keep “the outward appearance amid the mission to strike out at the many vehicles of colloquial ecclesiastical usage.” (Ibid)  Also from Bailey: “There will not be any dissociation between the  Universal Church, the Sacred Lodge of all true Masons and the inner circles of the esoteric societies. (Ibid, p. 478)

She concluded:

In this way, the goals and work of the United Nations shall be solidified and a new Church of God, led by all the religions and by all of the spiritual groups, shall put an end to the great heresy of separateness. (Alice Bailey, Il destino delle Nazioni, Ediziones Nuova Era, Rome, 1988, p. 155)” (quoted by Professor Carlo Alberto Agnoli, op. cit.)

Thus, this Council was planned while waiting to find the person to convene it.

5.     A Planned Event:  John XXIII, the man who convened the Council

A programmed election

The Masonic bulletin, Les échos du Surnaturel, December 1961-January 1962, published evidence by a well published author:  “Concerning the Council, on August 14, 1954, I wrote to Cardinal Roncalli (longtime Nuncio in Paris with whom I have conferred) to announce to him his future election (to the Papacy) and to ask him to meet with me during his vacation in his native country for the purpose of studying his first project----the Council.

Specifically, I wrote: Would that you would reflect on everything about that, because there will be no time to waiver; once you ascend the Pontifical throne, the plan shall be immediately carried out and so surprise all of the politicos. In this same vein, from 1954, the Freemasons had told Msgr. Roncalli to learn some languages because he would be the next pope elected by then and thus, it was necessary that he be prepared for the papacy.” (B.O.C., p.9, No. 52,Mai 1980)

That same year, 1954, in August, Jean-Gaston Bardet “a noted Freemason of the esoteric Christian persuasion, wrote to Patriarch Roncalli who was then on holiday in his native village of Sotto il Monte:

Not only he did tell (Bardet) that he would be Pope, but (he) also knew the name he would choose when he would be elected. (Hebblethwaite, John XXIII, Pope of the Council, See American publisher).

Bardet came to Venice where he met Roncalli, repeating his predictions to him, and telling him, according to Capovilla (Secretary of John XXIII) that his Pontificate would be marked by “doctrinal innovations and some disciplinary reforms.” (*Sodalitium, no. 33, “Le Pape du Concile”, 1954-1958, 10th part, p. 37)

*Note from the Editor of TCW: The group Sodalitium Pianum's view "called" Sedeprivationism [i.e. the idea of attempting to apply a designation (new terminology) of "material/formal pope(s)" regarding the V-2 sect Antipopes- who all were ineligible to hold office according to Pope Paul IV's infallible Cum EX Apostolatus Officio] which was formulated by the late Fr. Lauriers is objectively false. In light of the readily available documentation today regarding the usurping Freemasonic Roncallian sect’s leaders, the Sedeprivation view is a preposterous heresy.

Why was 1954 the year in which Masonry began its plan?

At the end of 1953, Pius XII was very tired and his spiritual affairs were in the hands of Father Bea, [2] his confessor, a very knowledgeable man, but an unbridled ecumenist. As is attested to in the following, it can be clearly said that Pius XII was delivered body and soul from evildoers; this point was made by Carlo Pacelli, his nephew, who wondered if his uncle had been the victim of an attempt to poison him. (Antonio Spinosa: Pie XII, l’ultimo Papa, [“Pius XII, the Last Pope”] Mondadori, Milan, 1992, p. 342.)

But the Lord miraculously protected Pius XII’s body and soul. This respite permitted him to carry out two extremely important acts: the canonization of Pius X, and the distancing of Montini. From January 26 to February 16, 1954, Pius XII was not able to be fed by natural means. In the Fall, he suffered a relapse and his condition became quite desperate.

On December 2, Pius XII told Msgr. Tardini, “I tell you, the others can think that its because of hallucinations caused by illness. Yesterday morning, I clearly heard a voice (very clearly so) who said, ‘A vision is going to appear to you now.’ In fact nothing appeared. This morning, when I attended Mass, for an instant I saw the Lord. It was only for an instant, but I did see…” (Chélini: L’Eglise sous Pie XII, [“The Church Under Pius XII”] Editions Fayard, 1989, Vol. II, pp. 513, 514)

Pius XII thought that the Lord had come to take him, in answer to his prayer: “In hora mortis meae, voca me” (“At the hour of my death, call me.”) (Prayer: Anima Christi, found at the beginning of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius). Jesus cured him, giving the Church four more years of respite. (Sodalitium, no. 33: “Le Pape du Concile” Part 10, 1954-1958, p.37.)

Pius XII then wrote his letter of August 13, 1954, in which he said:

In the world today, full of snares and perils, there are many who boldly struggle to spread error among the faithful. An audacious propaganda campaign, either openly or surreptitiously, insinuates itself among the Catholics, with the goal of estranging their fidelity which is due to Christ and the true Church, and at the same time, to cut out the faith from their souls. Unfortunately, for as many as there are who courageously defend their beliefs, there are many who abandon them

Roncalli was quite detached regarding the Pope’s illness, and had prophesied his death four years in advance. ….He wrote that the Pope

…often seems at death’s door, and pulls back and then relapses. I have little confidence that the Holy Father will be successfully cured, despite all the doctors, medicine and care. His life is a miracle, but miracles, as you know, only last a little while. (Hebblethwaite, op. cit. p. 281)

Msgr. Roncalli would thus await his Conclave at the end of 1958. [3]

Let us pause a few moments here to treat a key person: Dom Lambert Beauduin. He was a Belgian monk, who on the eve of the First World War, at a time when the humanist movement within the Catholic Church was more and more rearing its head, actively worked to advance the Masonic plan for a “future” liturgical reform through the “creation” of a “new mass”, a synthesis of modernist heresy. He was also one of the “prophets” of the ecumenism that triumphed at the Council.

The wild initiatives of Dom Lambert Beauduin resulted in offending Pius XI, who, in 1928, reacted by condemning his theses in the encyclical, Mortalium Animo.  Afterward, Beauduin worked in secret, from the shadows.  In 1924, he struck up a friendship with Msgr. Roncalli.

How did this friendship come about? One cannot ignore that Roncalli was given back his teaching Chair at the Atheneum of the Lateran through his “modernist” promoters.

The two men were fast friends, and at the news of Pius XII’s death, the following was written:

…the aged Dom Lambert Beauduin, 85 years old, told [this writer]: “If they elect Roncalli, everything will be salvaged: he will be able to convene a Council and to install Ecumenism.” He fell silent again, and then the old malice resurfaced, when he frankly said: “I am sure we will have our chance: the Cardinals for the most part, don’t know what they are doing. They are capable of voting for him.” (Louis Bouyer, “Dom Lambert Beauduin, un homme d’église, [“Dom Lambert Beauduin, Man of the Church], 1964, pp. 180, 181)

In this book, he told what he had seen and heard at the Vatican. It was in September 1958, just before the Conclave, the author was privy to some confidential information:

I was in a car with a person whom I knew to be a highly placed Mason who was in contact with the Vatican. He said to me: “The next Pope will not be Siri, as the gossip has it in certain Roman circles, because he is too authoritarian a cardinal. A conciliating Pope will be elected. He has already been chosen, and is the Patriarch of Venice, Roncalli,” To this I replied: “Are there Masons in the Conclave?” “Certainly,” he said. “The Church is in our hands.” After a brief silence, my interlocutor said, “No one can say where the leader can be found. The leader is hidden.”

The following day, Count Stella (of a well known Italian family---ED) wrote in an official document, which today is in a notary’s safety deposit box, the first and last name of this person as well as his stupefying declaration, compete with the month, year, day, and time of day.” (Nichitaroncalli [NikitaRoncalli], Ediziones Eiles, Rome, p. 62)

On the eve of the Conclave which elected Msgr. Roncalli, Roncalli didn’t cross his fingers, as he was already almost certain of his victory. On Friday, October 24, on the eve of the closing of the Conclave, he summoned none other than Giulio Andreotti, the Italian politico who was identified by the widow Calvi as the true head of P2 Lodge, to tell him in diplomatic language, of his forthcoming election. (Ibid, p.395) (Professor Carlo Alberto Agnoli, op. cit.)

When Roncalli spoke with Andreotti, the Patriarch clearly told him that he knew from the first morning of the Conclave, a few hours before the Cardinal went from the Domus Mariae to the Vatican, that he would be the new Pope. Said Andreotti: “That evening, Msgr. Capovilla telephoned me that the Patriarch wanted to see me.”

The Italian politico then told of his longtime relations with Roncallli and Roncalli’s friendship with the modernist, Buonaiuti. Then he returned to his conversation with the Patriarch, who wanted to talk about the Conclave: “It is true that we always say: not I, not I. But the arrows of the Holy Spirit must fall on someone…I received a message of congratulations from General DeGaulle, but that doesn’t mean that in fact the French Cardinals will vote this way. I know that they would like to elect Montini and this would certainly be excellent: but it isn’t possible to go outside the tradition which is that the choice be made among the Cardinals…” Here is Andreotti’s commentary: “I listened stupefied and embarrassed. I thus knew that Roncalli was sure of being elected by the Conclave.” (Giulio Andreotti, A ogni morte di Papa. I papi che ho conosciuto, Biblioteca-universale Rizzoli, 1982, pp. 65-66) (Sodalitium, no. 33, “Le Pape du Concile, [“The Pope of the Council”, 1954-1958, p. 39.)

Before his talk with Andreotti, Msgr. Roncalli had written two letters, one to the Bishop of Bergamo, Msgr. Piazzi, dated October 23, and the other to the Bishop of Faenza, Giuseppe Battaglia, dated the 24th of the same month.

In the first he announced the “new Pentecost” which would come “with the renewal of the head.” It added, “It is of little importance that the new pope be or not be originally from Bergamo (as was he---Ed). You follow me, Your Excellency.” (P. Hebblethwaite, op. cit. p. 308)

As to the letter to the Bishop of Faenza, its specific object was to expressly forbid his nephew, Don Battista Roncalli, incardinated in that diocese, to come to Rome at this time! This would give the disagreeable impression of nepotism! But after the election, “When you learn that I succumbed to the arrows of the Holy Spirit, imposed by the consensus of all those meeting here…’ the nephew could come to Rome…Congratulations Uncle. For the moment, Roncalli recommended: “Naturally, not a word of any of this to anyone.” (P. Hebbletheaite, op. cit. p. 308)

This plan was also revealed in a letter by Cardinal Tisserant, March 12, 1970, in which he made a pointed allusion to the “planned” election of John XXIII:

The election of the current Sovereign Pontiff was done quickly. It is the election of Jean XXIII, that was discussed at numerous meetings. I do not know of any information on the process was able to be given by anyone after the conclave. Secrecy was imposed even more strictly than ever.  It is completely ridiculous to say that any cardinal would have been elected. You understand that I can say no more. My best regards….(Photocopy of the letter published Franco Bellegrandi’s book, op. cit. p. 30)

In another letter, Cardinal Tisserant told a priest teaching canon law that the election of John XXIII was illegitimate because it was willed and planed for by forces alien to the Holy Spirit. (“Vita” 18 September, 1977, p.4: “Le profezie sui papi nell’elenco di San Malachia”)-[“Prophecies on the popes by Saint Malachy”] These letters confirm that the election of John XXIII really was “programmed.”

The image emerging from this affair is certainly not one of a simple man, or rather simple as Cardinal Heenan judged him, but rather of a person completely involved in constructing his own pedestal. [Could also be figurative: building up a myth of himself.]

TO BE CONTINUED….

[1] Madame Blavatsky was one of the first women to attain the 33rd degree in mixed masonry. She was also the foundress of Theosophy and one of the greatest authorities of the esoteric and occult world. (Serge Hutin, La Massoneria, Mondadori, 1961, p. 147)

[2] That Msgr. Bugnini, Freemason and architect of the liturgical reform, had free access to Pius XII when he was ill, was because Bea gave it to him. (Sodalitium, No. 11, p. 11; and Annibale Bugnini, La Riforma Liturgica, (1948-1975) CLV Ediziones Liturgiche, 1983, p. 22)

[3] We turn the reader’s attention to a fact at once innocuous and extremely serious: It is precisely in 1958 that the ritual of the “new mass” was tried out at Taizé. Thus, many Catholics do not know that the “new mass´ of the new “conciliar church” is the Taizé ritual that is quite close to the Lutheran ritual. Father Malachi Martin had the honesty to remark that this “new Mass” was created by Protestants, (See pp. 23-24) at the direction of a Freemason chosen by the initiate Roncalli! We are far from the Catholic Holy Mass.

(Thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my Church)

"The Church has no power to change the form of her government, nor to control the destiny of him who, once validly elected, is no vicar of hers but Vicar of Christ. Consequently she has no power to punish or depose her head. She is born to obey. This truth may seem hard, but the best theologians have never attenuated it; rather, they have accentuated it. To make us aware of all that we ought to be ready to suffer for the Church, of how much heroism she can ask of us, they have proposed extreme cases. They have supposed a Pope who shall scandalise the Church by the gravest sins; they have supposed him to be incorrigible; and then they ask whether the Church can depose him. Their answer is, no. For no one on earth can touch the Pope." -The Church of the Word Incarnate, by Monsignor Charles Journe, Imprimatur (Professor at the Major Seminary of Fribourg) Volume One: The Apostolic Hierarchy Sheed and Ward London and New York 1955)

1958: Pius XII shown with his friend & hand-picked successor Cardinal Siri
October 27, 1958 Associated Press News Report - VATICAN CITY (AP) - Cardinals balloted Sunday without electing a pope. A mix-up in smoke signals made it appear for about half an hour that Pius XII's successor had been chosen. For a time 200,000 Romans and tourists in huge Saint Peter's Square were certain the church had a new pontiff. Millions of others who listened to radios throughout Italy and Europe also were certain. They were certain. They heard the Vatican speaker shout exultantly: 'A pope is elected..’

"Pope Gregory XVII in a series of clandestine meetings in the late 1980s told Fr. Peter Khoat Van Tran, a well-known Italian prelate (His Excellency Archbishop Arrigo Pintonello), Monsignor Carlo Taramasso, and a distinguished layman that the white smoke was not an error (mix-up), but indeed signified His election and acceptance as Roman Pontiff." (From the Papal Bio of Pope Gregory XVII)

(Minneapolis) -Jan 18- On this holy feast day of The Chair of St. Peter's at Rome, TCW is printing an imperative extract (below) from Monsignor Charles Journet's Imprimatured book The Church of the Word Incarnate - which citing immutable Catholic Principles and historical precedence, clearly explains the Catholic Church's Teaching: that a validly elected Pope is Christ's Vicar and NOT the Church's- to be judged.

Santa Catrina Siena
St. Catherine of Siena pictured with an unidentified Pope
Her humble prayers and good works were instrumental in bringing the Papacy back to Rome, from its "Babylonian Captivity" in Avignon.

"See that I do not have to complain of you to Jesus crucified," wrote Catherine of Siena to Pope Gregory XI; "there is none other to whom I can appeal, since you have no superiors on earth." And again, a little earlier in the same letter: "Take care, as you value your life, that you commit no negligence."

Historical and Theological Facts Pertaining to the Pontificacy of His Holiness, Pope Gregory XVII (1958-1989 A.D.)

Cardinal Giuseppe Siri of Genoa, Italy was elected Pope on October 26, 1958 A.D. He chose the name Gregorius XVII. Put under a documented constant death threat (duress) for more than 30 years: His Holiness, through Divine Providence, was able to create Cardinals (which included designating a Camerlengo) to carry on the mission of the Church (Hierarchy) in 1988 A.D. Pope Gregory XVII formulated a 'Continuance of Papacy Plan' from 1988 to 1989 with a Papal directive to His secret Cardinals to *elect His successor promptly were he to die in an unforseen manner (*this occurred). His Holiness Gregory XVII died in exile on May 2, 1989 A.D.

The true faith to the Lord having been forgotten, each individual will want to be on his own and be superior to people of same identity, they will abolish civil rights as well as ecclesiastical... The Holy Father will suffer a great deal. I will be with him until the end and receive his sacrifice. The mischievous would attempt his life several times to do harm and shorten his days but neither him nor his successor will see the triumph of the Church of God."
(Words spoken by Our Lady of La Salette to Melanie Calvat in 1846 A.D., a fully approved Church Apparition)

Note: There are some (usually untrained layman) who acknowledge that His Holiness Pope Gregory XVII was indeed elected as Christ's Lawful Vicar on Earth at the 1958 Conclave, but then balefully attempt to "reason" that He lost His jurisdiction ("stopped being Pope") at some undefined point - This is Objective Error.

PERMANENT JURISDICTION: FOURTH DIVISION

D. The Sole Remedy for a Bad Pope: a Text of Cajetan's on Prayer

The Church has no power to change the form of her government, nor to control the destiny of him who, once validly elected, is no vicar of hers but Vicar of Christ. For no one on earth can touch the Pope.

In his Summa de Ecclesia (lib. II, cap. cvi) Cardinal Turrecremata pointed out several remedies for such a calamity: respectful admonitions, direct resistance to bad acts, and so forth.  All these could, of course, prove useless.

There remains a supreme resource, never useless, terrible sometimes as death, as secret as love.  This is prayer, the resource of the saints.

To the bad theologians who thought that the Church would be defenceless if not allowed to depose a vicious Pope, Cardinal Cajetan, who had seen the reign of Alexander VI, had but one answer: he reminded them of the power of prayer.  For never has it such power as in such crises.  We must always have recourse to prayer, as one of the purest weapons a Christian can use.  But here it is not only a "common" means, i.e. one to be used along with others, it is the "proper" means, the proper instrument for the use of the Church in distress.  "If you tell me that prayer is but a common remedy to be used against all the ills that afflict us, and that for the special evil that troubles us here we need a proper remedy - since every effect comes of a proper cause, not merely from general causes - I reply, in a general way, that the highest causes, although they play the part of common causes in respect of lower effects, play in fact the part of proper causes in respect of higher effects.  And that is why prayer, which is to be put among the highest of supernatural second causes, is only a common cause of lower effects; but it is a proper cause and the proper remedy for the highest effects, such as would be - since it is matter reserved for God - the removal from this world of a still believing but incorrigible Pope."[1]  The same author sufficiently indicates the sort of prayer to be offered when he reproaches his contemporaries for their manner of reciting the Divine Office and of celebrating Mass.

Page 426:

Here he shows both the clarity of his genius and the charity of his heart.  "The divine Wisdom," he says, "who in the natural order governs lower things through the higher and these last through the highest second causes, acts in a similar way in the supernatural order, to which belong grace and faith, and the Church based on the faith.  On the other hand, causes are proportionate to their effects, the highest causes having the highest effects.  If then, on the one hand, the means available to human effort ["providentia humana"], even if super-elevated by the authority of the Church, are a force inferior to prayer, appointed as the highest of second causes by God, to whom all creatures, corporeal or spiritual, are subject; and if, on the other hand, a remedy against a bad but still believing Pope[1] is among the highest effects in the Church, it follows that God, in His wisdom, must have given the Church for remedy against a bad Pope, not now any of these merely human means which may avail for the rest of the Church, but prayer alone.  And can the prayer of the Church, when she perseveringly asks things needful for her salvation, be any less efficacious than merely human means? Is not the fervent prayer of an individual soul who asks such things for himself, already efficacious and infallible?[2]  If then the salvation of the Church demands that such and such a Pope should be removed, then undoubtedly the prayer we have mentioned will remove him.  And if it be not necessary, why question the goodness of the Lord, who refuses what we wish and gives us what we ought to prefer? ...  But alas, it seems that we are come to the days announced by the Son of Man when He asked whether, on His return, He should find faith on the earth.  For the promises relating to the highest and most efficacious of second causes are held to be of nothing worth.  They say that we must depose a bad Pope by human means; that one cannot be content with resort to prayer and to divine providence alone!  But why do they say that, if not because they prefer human means to the efficacy of prayer, because the animal man does not perceive the things of God, because they have learnt to trust in man, not in the Lord, and to put their hope in the flesh? So, if a Pope hardened in evil ways appears, his subordinates, without leaving their own vices, content themselves with daily murmurings against the evil regime; they do not seek to avail themselves, save perhaps in a dream and without faith, of the remedy of prayer; so that what Scripture predicts comes about by their fault, namely that it is due to the sins of the people that a hypocrite reigns over them, holy in respect of his office, but a devil at heart ...  We have become blind to the point of refusing to pray as we ought, while yet desiring the fruit of prayer; of refusing to sow, while still wanting to reap.  Let us not call ourselves Christians any longer!  Or if we do, let us turn to Christ; and the Pope, were he frantic, furious, tyrannical, a render, dilapidator and corrupter of the Church, would be overcome.  But if we do not know how to overcome ourselves, what right have we to complain of being

[1]  Great theologians have admitted that the Pope could personally fall into the sin of heresy.  See Excursus IX.

[2]  St. Thomas, III Con. Gen., xcv and xcvi.

Page 427:

unable to break through the evils that surround us by prayers that not only fail to rise through our roofs, but do not even mount as far as our heads? And the worst of all is this: God of old upbraided His people for honouring Him with their lips while their hearts were far from Him; but in the days of the revelation of grace, God is not even honoured with lips, for nothing is less intelligible than the recitation of the divine office, nothing said more quickly than the Mass; the time given to these seems long, too long, but time enough is found for play, business and worldly pleasures, and for loitering over them endlessly."[1]

Thus, even though his private life should be grievously sinful, the Pope cannot be deposed.  Immense scandal might be given, but his doctrinal infallibility would be unaffected.  And it remains true that no temptation is superhuman.  God, who is faithful, will suffer none who seeks Him to be tempted beyond his strength, and to each He offers inwardly the help that will enable him to overcome (cf. I Cor. x. 13).

LOSS OF THE PONTIFICATE

How can the pontificate, once validly held, be lost? At the most in two ways.

     a. The first - and at bottom, as we shall see, the only way - is by the disappearance of the subject himself; whether as a result of an inevitable event (death or

Page 483:

that species of death which consists in irremediable loss of reason), or as a result of the free renunciation of the pontificate such as that of St. Celestine V, "che fece ... il gran' rifiuto".  The Pope was considered as having resigned when he was so placed that he could not possibly exercise his powers: "It appears that in those times, when a bishop was removed from his see by a capital sentence (death, exile, relegation) or by an equivalent measure emanating from the secular authority, the see was considered as vacant.  It was under these circumstances that the Roman Church replaced in the third century Pontianus by Anteros, in the sixth century Silverius by Vigilius, in the seventh Martin by Eugenius" (L. Duchesne, The Early History of the Church, vol. III, p. 160, note 1).

     b. The second way would be by deposition.  If deposition means, properly, deprivation by a superior authority, it is evident that the Pope, having the highest spiritual jurisdiction on earth, can never in this sense be deposed.  When then the deposition of a Pope is spoken of it can only be in some improper sense.  Two cases present themselves.

First, there is the deposition of a doubtful Pope.  But a Pope whose election remains uncertain was never Pope, so that there is no question here of deposition properly so called.

Next comes the debated case of an HERETICAL Pope.

Many theologians hold that the assistance promised by Jesus to the successors of Peter will not only prevent them from publicly teaching heretical doctrine, but will also prevent them from falling into heresy in their private capacity.  If that view is correct the question does not arise.  St. Robert Bellarmine, in his De Romano Pontifice (lib. II, cap. xxx), already held this thesis as probable and easy to defend.  It was however less widespread in his time than it is to-day.  It has gained ground, largely on account of historical studies which have shown that what was once imputed to certain Popes, such as Vigilius, Liberius, Honorius as a private heresy, was in fact nothing more than a lack of zeal and of courage in certain difficult moments, to proclaim and especially to define precisely, what the true doctrine was.

Nevertheless, numerous and good theologians of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries have admitted that the Pope as a private person could fall into heresy and not only in secret but even openly.

Some, such as Bellarmine and Suarez, considered that such a Pope, withdrawing himself from the Church, was ipso facto deposed, "papa haereticus est depositus".  It seems that heresy was regarded by these theologians as a kind of moral suicide suppressing the very subject of the Papacy.  Thus we come back without difficulty to the first way in which the pontificate can be lost.

Others, such as Cajetan, and John of St. Thomas, whose analysis seems to me more penetrating, have considered that even after a manifest sin of heresy the Pope is not yet deposed, but should be deposed by the Church, "papa haereticus non est depositus, sed deponendus".  Nevertheless, they added, the Church is not on that account above the Pope.  And to make this clear they fall back on an explanation of the same nature as those we have used in Excursus IV.  The remark on the one hand that in divine law the Church is to be united to the Pope as the body is to the head; and on the other that, by divine law, he who shows himself a heretic is to be avoided after one or two admonitions (Tit. iii. 10).  There is therefore an absolute contradiction between the fact of being Pope and the fact of persevering in heresy after one or two admonitions.  The Church's

Page 484:

action is simply declaratory, it makes it plain that an incorrigible sin of heresy exists; then the authoritative action of God disjoins the Papacy from a subject who, persisting in heresy after admonition, becomes in divine law, inapt to retain it any longer.  In virtue therefore of Scripture the Church designates and God deposes.  God acts with the Church, says John of St. Thomas, somewhat as a Pope would act who decided to attach indulgences to certain places of pilgrimage, but left it to a subordinate to designate which these places should be (II-II, q. i; disp. 2, a. 3, no. 29, Vol. VII, p. 264).  The explanation of Cajetan and John of St. Thomas - which, according to them, is also valid, properly applied, as an interpretation of the enactments of the Council of Constance - brings us back in its turn to the case of a subject who becomes in Divine law incapable at a given moment of retaining the papacy.  It is also reducible to the loss of the pontificate by default of the subject.  This then is the fundamental case and the others are merely variants.  In a study in the Revue Thomiste (1900, p. 631, Lettres de Savonarole aux princes chretiens pour la reunion d'un concile), P. Hurtaud, O.P., has entered a powerful plea in the case - still open - of the "Piagnoni".  He makes reference to the explanation of Roman theologians prior to Cajetan, according to which a Pope who fell into heresy would be deposed ipso facto: the Council concerned would have only to put on record the fact of heresy and notify the Church that the Pope involved had forfeited his primacy.  Savonarola, he says, regarded Alexander VI as having lost his faith.  "The Lord, moved to anger by this intolerable corruption, has, for some time past, allowed the Church to be without a pastor.  For I bear witness in the name of God that this Alexander VI is in no way Pope and cannot be.  For quite apart from the execrable crime of simony, by which he got possession of the [papal] tiara through a sacrilegious bargaining, and by which every day he puts up to auction and knocks down to the highest bidder ecclesiastical benefices, and quite apart from his other vices - well-known to all - which I will pass over in silence, this I declare in the first place and affirm it with all certitude, that the man is not a Christian, he does not even believe any longer that there is a God; he goes beyond the final limits of infidelity and impiety" (Letter to the Emperor).[1]  Basing our argument on the doctrinal authorities which Cajetan was soon to invoke, we should say that Savonarola wished to collect together the Council, not because, like the Gallicans, he placed a Council above the Pope (the Letters to the Princes are legally and doctrinally unimpeachable), but so that the Council, before which he would prove his accusation, should declare the heresy of Alexander VI in his status as a private individual.  P. Hurtaud concludes: "Savonarola's acts and words - and most of his words are acts - should be examined in detail.  Each of his words should be carefully weighed and none of the circumstances of his actions should be lost sight of.  For the friar is a master of doctrine; he does not only know it but he lives it too.  In his conduct nothing is left to chance or the mood of the moment.  He has a theological or legal principle as the motive power in each one of his decisions.  He should not be judged by general laws, for his guides are principles of an exceptional order - though I do not mean by this that he placed himself above or outside the common law.  The rules he invokes are admitted by the best Doctors of the Church; there is nothing exceptional in them save the circumstances which make them lawful, and condition their application."

[1]  These were neither new nor isolated accusations.  cf. Schnitzer, Savonarola, Italian translation by E. Rutili, Milan, 1931, vol. ii, p. 303.

"Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the lord himself (that is to say, by divine law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole church; or that the Roman pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy:
let him be anathema."

"It is faith and hope... which must guide us here. In the first place by giving us the courage to tackle these problems, by assuring us in advance that there are solutions within the order willed by our Lord for His Church. Though He allows His Church to be tested, He does not allow us to doubt His promises nor the help which He always gives her, and which He is ready to give to these timorous Catholics who today do not dare to take action." -Fr. Humpty Dumpty
"which is to be master – that's all"

"We hold that you are not ignorant thereof what an outrageous combat is everywhere going on in our time. In truth the heathens and self-conceited nations are rebelling against their Creator. The cry of God's enemies is: 'Depart from us.' In most people respect for God has disappeared both in public and in private life. They even go so far as to attempt to obliterate even the memory of God. When we consider these facts you must really feel that such wickedness is only the beginning of those evils which are to come before the end of the world, and that the Son of Perdition of whom the Apostles speak, is already among us." -Pope St. Pius X, 1903 A.D.

TCW PRESENTS PART TWO OF: THE PRESENT COURSE OF COLLISION (WHICH IS TO BE MASTER – THAT'S ALL)
BY MRS. BROWNSEY

(Minneapolis) -Jan 11- In Today's Catholic World introduced our new columnist, Mrs. Brownsey to readers on January 7th., the feedback has been very positive. Here is the second installment of her three-part essay, (The Present Course of Collision) entitled: "Which is to be Master - that's All".

The Present Course of Collision

In Honour of Pascendi Dominici Gregis, Pope St. Pius X, Sept. 8, 1907.

Part Two

Which is to be Master – that’s All

Of the twentieth century, "...for Satan will reign almost completely by means of the Masonic sects" Our Lady of Good Success in confidence to Ven. Mother Marianna de Jesus de Torres. Quito, Ecuador: (Jan. 20, 1610) with ecclesiastical approval. [1]

Modernism is above all else, a consciousness. The modern consciousness. And its partisans were so well represented within the Church at the time of Pope St. Pius X, especially in the faculties of theology and the seminaries, that he dedicated his pontificate to eradicating this influence and protecting the Church against it.

In Pascendi, he identifies two principles of Modernism both within and without the Church. The subjection of faith to the sciences: technological, economic and social progress is self evident now. This conflict is now in the open. The morals of the Catholic Church based on Divine Law are intrinsically hostile to this subjection of faith to the principle: ‘whatever can be done will be done – whether it should be done or not.’ Across the lines of this conflict, the substitution of man for God becomes clearer every day.

The second principle identified by Pope St. Pius X is more complex and relates more specifically to dogma; Immanentism, attacks the Church from within. It attacks the credence of Divine Revelation, attacks the belief that man could know who God is in Divine Nature and Being, denies this knowledge could be true in an objective sense, doubts that the Church could teach this knowledge in an inerrant sense. Following from this, God’s right to the worship of man "in spirit and in truth" is denied. Immanentism, seated in the dialectic is fundamentally hostile towards the Church’s testament to the inerrancy of Holy Scripture and Divine Revelation. As an epistemology, or philosophy of knowledge, Immanentism corrupts the Magisterial witness of the Church to morals and dogma. For the Modernist, who reasons dialectically, can both assent to dogma as thesis (in provisional terms) and reject it as anti-thesis. The yes is never yes; the no is never no.

His Holines Pope St. Pius X
Pope St. Pius X clearly saw the enemy and took action!

Pope St. Pius X saw clearly that such an approach from within the Church attacks the sense of the entire Catholic faith as believed and taught by the historical continuum of Apostolic teaching, Sacred Scripture, the Fathers, Doctors, popes and Councils both preserving and renewing One faithful and true witness to the unchanging Deposit of Faith in every generation.

This is why he called Modernism the synthesis of all heresies – omnium heresum summa.

Such an approach to the articles of faith was a new and far more hostile species of liberalism. As an ideology, liberalism was merely agnostic toward truth and error in any objective sense. Thus, liberalism tolerates every form of opinion and belief except the Catholic faith with its claim to inerrancy. Immanentism goes further than liberalism and is hostile towards meaning in any defined sense. From within the Church, Pope St. Pius X saw the articles of faith being emptied of defined, dogmatic content and infused with personal, rational or ideological content. This semantic operation was perhaps best satirised in "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll’s arch Modernist, Humpty Dumpty.

"I don’t know what you mean by ‘glory,’ " Alice said.

Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. "Of course you don’t-till I tell you. I meant, ‘there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!’ "

"Bu
